The filter was strong enough to withstand daily use in the field. The flush valve at the bottom of the filter was adequate but weak. Be careful not to hit it with other objects, otherwise it may break. During testing since it is new. Time and use will tell if it can withstand the workload,

I installed two of these in series and they still don't collect half the water that went through the line without them into a 3/8 out line. I still have visible water mist from the exhaust on my tools, there is some water in the separator but not much. I would definitely NOT recommend them.

This filter and water separator is much better than my old one. First, it catches all particles, second, it catches water like wind, and third, it automatically drains water every time the air hose is depressurized. For the money you can get a better filter/water separator than this.

Fast delivery and in good condition. Installed between the radiator and the tank. It automatically empties after the pressure switch shuts off the engine and unloads the compressor. I haven't had it on the compressor long enough to assess how much, if any, condensate gets past the filter. So far very happy with how it's working.

It's not very good at scavenging moisture but I use it on the end of my string in front of the tool as a particulate filter for safety. Most notably, there will be complaints about the dump valve, which is a flimsy plastic thing. Mine was leaking when the unit arrived so I cut the valve off, stuck a 1/4 NPT in the cup and added my own brass valve. Now it's better than before.
