Equipped with fishbone bumper carrier and pivoting tire carrier. I had to drill two holes to mount it to the swivel rod mount. Very safe and looks great. Well made jack holder.

I've taken this with my high buoyancy on crawl and washboard speedways. No hits, no damage. Tip: Drill holes in the factory hinge covers so you can use them for a better look, and fit a few strips of waterproof rubber strapping under the Hi-Lift to keep the ride from rattling even off-road.

Firstly I have a Smitty spare wheel holder and the bolts to connect the jack to the holder were the wrong size. I went and bought the right size but the correct screws were too big for the mounting holes. I had to drill holes for mounting. Now the jack is on the jeep, but due to the installation position, the jack prevents the tailgate from opening. I wish I had bought a different jack mount.

Overall I like this jack mount - I've had other Jeeps on it but the holes don't match JLU so one or both had to be enlarged to fit. This problem can be easily solved in production by simply making holes about 1-2 inches high for customer to install without modification. You can even make "+" holes to really give buyers full flexibility in mounting.

Doesn't fit my Smittybilt 2722 experimental jack Jack socket too big. I can mount it by removing the base of the jack, but it cannot be fixed as intended and becomes very unstable because the second anchor point is on the base. It also mounts at an odd angle. not quite straight when viewed from behind. And when the toy looks at it from the side, it sticks out instead of mounting the scene up and down.

I installed the bracket very easily, the instructions were clear. I took it a step further by cutting a hole in the hinge covers big enough to leave them in place. According to the instructions it should be removed. Within a few days the device started to rust. I removed the bracket and sprayed the truck bed with Rustolium, which I bought at Home Depot for less than $8. The fit is now perfect. I advise you to paint the bracket before installing it to prevent rusting.

I would give no stars if I could. I purchased this for my 2012 Jeep Wrangler but asked to cancel it IMMEDIATELY because I realized it would not work with my aftermarket bumper/tire mount that I had just installed. The seller keeps emailing me asking me to keep it and saying he doesn't understand why it doesn't fit and demanding all sorts of explanations. They approved my return but shipped the item anyway. Strong steel with a good finish. Installation was pretty easy, no drilling required and only took 10 minutes. My only complaint is that after two weeks the screws had already started to rust. I will buy replacement fittings but how much would stainless steel fittings cost to keep customers happy?
