I bought two of these to replace the volume controls on some 40 year old speakers in our church daycare and dorm. I recently bought this to cut the base for a set of computer speakers (Altec ACS33) that had a horribly boomy bottom. The item comes in a small brown box with a very small chart on the side. Crate.
