Not waterproof, bad design.

They are not at all waterproof and not very waterproof. They're also poorly constructed, the ground wire is screwed into the backplate and is essentially a super thin connecting wire prone to corrosion and breakage. The positive leads are hot glued to the back of the board and connected together very messily, with a lead wire coming loose to make a hot connection. They are not bright at all. TLDR is a very cheap and poorly designed product which I would reject.

Pros
  • Very impressive

  • So far so good

** Failed after 6 weeks of use. **

*** Update - center and left lights off. I removed the ground contacts for cleaning without making any changes. Only dove the ramp maybe 5 times before they gave up. *** I've only dunked them on the ramp twice since installing, no issues, and they make me legal which is nice. My only complaint is that they are as bright as my brake/turn signals, so significantly brighter than my taillights. I'll take a picture to show what I mean. Great for visibility, but if you have OCD it might bother you.

Bright and easy to install

My cargo trailer is 7ft wide and needs rear center markers which for some reason weren't there. I opted for modular instead of three separate lights. This light panel only had to drill two screws and an electrical connection. The only mod I had to do was add two L brackets to balance the installation as my tailgate would crush the lights if I mounted them to the chassis if they fell off. I installed the L brackets under the chassis and then attached the lightbar to them. The headlights look…

Added some silicone, so far so good!

So I installed the trailer lights at the same time and used silicone to seal all the holes in the lights and decided to do the same with the parking lights. I used rubbing alcohol to wipe the headlights and smeared clear silicone on each lens and screw holes, including the hole where the wires exit the housing. Installation was easy. The bracket appears to be made of quality material. The light is very bright. As long as the headlights are on. I installed the lights in early November and have…

Not submersible, do not buy for boat trailer.

bought for a boat trailer. Description says submersible. The mount is a very linear, frangible, mild steel mount with 3 lights attached. I use a trailer almost every weekend during the summer during the day and less often at night. A year later I went to pick up another boat and noticed only 1 light was properly on, 1 was very dim and 1 wasn't even on. The headlights are very bright and can work great on a standard trailer. ***Update*** Discussed with support. They send me a new lamp for free…

Good but not as described. Simply good value for money.

Everything is fine. Good for the price I think. A little cheap. The way they ground the headlights to the bracket is a bit odd. I ran a dedicated ground on each LED. I think I'm overcompensating for even small LEDs. The metal is very thin. The lights are a little basic. If they fail, you can easily replace them. These taillights are NOT SEALED. Water can just rush down their backs. There are real holes in there, I don't know how they manage to call them sealed. In order for it to be airtight…

Update October 2020 Water Water everywhere

October 2020 Two of the three LEDs are not working, now look for a more reliable light source. Water twice a year, water once and take away once, the rest of the time it sits empty in my driveway. Not trusting any manufacturer when they say "waterproof and sealed", I added a small silicone bead around the lens and over the cable entry point on the back. Regardless, I had condensation in the lens on all three lights after the first use. The photo really shows the accumulated water in the lower…
