2013 GMC Sierra 1500 Extended Cab

Perfect Fit. The 3M gasket it comes with doesn't really seal well but I've used clear silicone around the canopy and it worked fine, no leaks in the canopy or condensation in the canopy. It looks good during the day and at night. Truck lights are nothing special, but they are no worse than standard lights. The brake light is bright and catches your attention when activated with a thin smoky lens (that's what you'd expect from a third brake light), overall very happy with it.

It's not bad in brake and tail light assemblies, parts and accessories

This light works great. Replaced a leaking brake light bulb on my 2012 Chevy Silverado LTZ. You need to study this and put the spacer correctly in the right place on the back of the mirror. Then make sure you install it nice and safe. The body lights aren't the brightest, so they leave something to be desired, but I would suggest buying Auto Zone LED lights for the truck body, which are phone controlled. GREAT ADDITION TO OLD TRUCK

When our 2007 Chevy Sliverado started leaking, everyone said it was the third brake light. So we ordered this one to replace the OEM. When it arrived it was of good quality. The kit included a sponge gasket. We put a gasket on the lantern and glued it to the truck. To help seal, we caulked it with silicone. The leak continued but not as badly so we put another layer of silicone on top of the gasket and stopped the leak (there was another leak we found later that stopped all the leaks in the…

2013 Silverado - Lights and Lighting Accessories

Really well packaged, nice hard cardboard with molded foam inside. The seal was a bit flimsy, but tight. The headlights basically shine more up and over the tailgate, which kind of blinds you, rather than focusing the light on the truck body area. shines, but not in the best place. I'm sure I could thicken the foam on top and essentially direct it down, but I didn't have to go that far to get it glowing where we need it and risk leaks in the cabin. Very happy with this purchase

I am very happy with this purchase. Before purchasing I read some negative reviews where others complained about problems with water getting into their truck around the newly installed third brake light and so I approached the installation with care and concern about this problem, but in fact we had since installing it rain a lot and no problem.
