I used Truecable CAT6 23AWG straight lay cable connectors. Worked very well if you're interested. You'll need to completely unwind the wires and make them long enough (about 2 inches) to have enough length to grab. When stringing the conductors together, you must carefully cut them without bending the ends or kinking the ends. Do not use force when inserting ladders. This tool has worked well for me as a newbie wiring lots of outlets in a new house. The biggest challenge (for me) to overcome was getting the wires straight enough and in the right order. I purchased these based on a review here that they will work with the 23 AWG TrueCable I purchased. Huge mistake. They are NOT rated for 23 AWG. Of course if you have time you can make it work, I managed to make 3 cables although each connector took 20-30 minutes. I use these with 23 AWG CAT6 copper cable. They are designed to allow the cable jacket to be inserted up to 1/2 inch into the connector. This allows me to cut eight wires with a pair of very small wire cutters and then pull the cable out 1mm.
