Woodworkers' 🔧 Patented Double C-Clamp Vise Review

I bought this specifically to sharpen my chainsaw in remote areas. For that it works fine. I attach it to a 2X12 that I keep in the back of my pickup. Install the circuit board assembly on the tailgate and it works great. I've also done this to hold stuff that needs to be cut, pulled, etc and I love it. Great idea, well designed and it works in many ways.

I was looking to use a road carving vise and this product looked like it would provide the solution I needed. I ordered one and found it worked perfectly so ordered another to have large pieces of wood at home. I was also impressed with the quality of the instrument and believe that with proper care it will last for many years. It's very compact and easily fits in a tool bag and I look forward to seeing it come in handy.

Very strong and durable vise/clamp which was as described and arrived in good condition. I had to spend a few minutes peeling off the cosmoline layer that had protected her during that long overseas voyage from China. I specifically ordered this for a bar clamp to sharpen my chainsaw chain. I can mount it to the tailgate and then clamp the chainsaw bar to the fixed part of the clamp with a small spacer. This is a great product and the price is better than chain clips that you have to drive into a log to sharpen the chain. Remember what you drive into the trunk you have to pull out is pinching and removing. Anyone sharpening their chainsaw in the woods next to the tailgate will wonder why they've never done…
