This point is really good in theory, but it has a fatal flaw that cannot be overcome. The sides are so slippery that when you roll the yarn over the marked spot, it keeps slipping off. I want the design to have a small piece of plastic protruding from the top of each wrapping area to hold the yarn in place. I can try applying a very thin layer of hot glue around the edges and see if that keeps the thread from slipping off - otherwise this tool is totally useless.

This is a very handy tool to have in your craft tool box. It is a multi-size tool and replaces many competitive tools. It's thin, easy to hold, made of durable plastic, and easy to use. I love that I can make multiple sizes at once to keep in my stash. Plus, it's easy to use and not as "uncomfortable" as other pom-pom makers. I make a rug out of pom poms and thought it would be invaluable for making the hundreds of pom poms I need. However, it's so big and chunky that if I wrap yarn around it 100 times (yes, I count every time), it flies out of my hand. If I can't get into the rhythm, I get very upset.
