Five centimeters is more than enough.

This is a knife I often use when cooking. I've only sharpened it twice in the month I've owned it. I sharpen it before each use, more out of habit than necessity. I really enjoy using this knife.

A quality knife without a triple digit price

Looks and feels good but with a good blade. I wanted to buy a quality knife without spending a fortune and for that this seems to be a pretty good mid-range knife. I will probably buy this brand next time I want to upgrade my 8 inch chef's knife.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Shape optional

Very nice knife, best in cutlery & knife accessories

Received my 8 inch chef's knife for Christmas. I liked it so much that I immediately bought a Santoku knife. Very sharp and very comfortable in the hand. I don't think it's real damascus steel. Looks like it was laser cut. Although the knives are beautiful. I will buy more of this brand if needed.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Very good knife, the best of paring knives

AMAZING knife. I have a full Wustoff set that I rarely use because this knife is amazing. Super comfortable, sharp and holds the edge very well. The difference between this knife and the same branded version that is half the price is that it has a better fit/finish. The cheaper version needs a bit of tweaking to make it comfortable to use, while this version feels premium right out of the box.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Protection

Well designed knife

Previously I had a carving knife for 15 years. It worked fine for me until I got this Paudina knife. This knife is narrower and thinner than my previous one so I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get used to it. But once I used it, wow, it worked so well that I immediately threw away my old knife. The blade is very sharp and easy to cut. I like my new knife very much.

A razor sharp knife. Very important!

We have several well-known chef's knives. This Paudin knife was recommended to us by a friend and we decided to give it a try. The knife arrived well packaged in a very nice box. The first impression upon holding it in my hands was the build quality. The knife fits well in the hand and easily cuts meat or vegetables. Please note: This knife is very sharp, which is a good thing. All in all, this is a nice quality chef's knife at a great price. Highly recommended.

Excellent quality knife

Compared to the $400+ Enso SG2 knife, they're pretty close in quality. This Paudin knife has excellent balance, the handle is well designed, doesn't chafe your hand and isn't too heavy. Note that I had to sharpen the blade when I first got it because they didn't sharpen it well. However, it cuts very well and does not need to be resharpened. I mostly use steel to keep the blade straight. Just so you know, the damascus pattern is engraved, but I believe the blade is damascus style nonetheless…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Good quality for such a budget

I wasn't happy when I saw 'made in China' on it when I ordered it I thought it was a Japanese one Knife. But to be honest it's good quality. The hand is beautiful, slim design and good grip. The center of gravity is very well adjusted, so you don't have to put your finger on the metal blade, full control and balance from the handle. The quality of the steel is really good (I don't think it's Damascus), it seems to me that these are just traces of a laser (I'll add a review in 6-9 months). It's…

Pros
  • a good thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
