Pamper Your Hair with Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Moisture Mist: Enhance Moisture & Vitality Review

I have fine hair and have been using this Awapuhi moisturizing spray on both my hair and beard for years. I use it every day to keep my hair moist. Barbara recommended this to me and I tried it and found it worked very well. I recommend this for people with thin hair and beards. My beard is quite heavy so it works well there too and never leaves anything behind as it absorbs quickly. Has no odor and perfectly moisturizes.

I just tried one of the bottles that I ordered and the smell was terrible. Thinking it was old I tried a second bottle and again the smell was terrible. So I poured these 2 bottles. I then went to my local Supercuts to buy it. Sprayed on me, same horrible smell again. What happens to the smell of this product? I will not buy this product again. The smell used to be wonderful.

Based on various reviews I was a bit nervous when ordering this product. I think I got lucky? It looks like it's real. The scent is light and pleasant, very much like cucumber melon, which is fine because you really don't need too many scents competing in your hair. I don't know how to do this and I don't really care, but this stuff gives me a few extra days between washes. And does a great job on my ends. If you have dry skin and scalp, this is good. A lot of people say it's liquid, like water, but I disagree. Even spraying it on my skin feels like I'm rubbing something inside. It's even thicker than water. Yes, as are some others who really know this product. Fake! Complete fake. I don't know about Mitchell Co. Make it happen? I first used it in Hawaii when Paul M. was just starting to grow his organic red ginger plants for Ahapui Juice. It's time to find some locals to cook us something fresh. Also, this company sucks for being sneaky about accidentally giving you more or because you ordered a subscription for it but didn't! And they continue to do so. 🌴

I used this years ago and was initially happy to find it at Revain. However, this product doesn't bring me much anymore. I have very thick, wavy hair that is difficult to manage, so maybe someone with a different hair texture will benefit from this. I switched to a $3 bottle of Johnson & Johnson No Tangles hairspray and it's a lot better. I don't think this product is worth the money and doesn't really do much for my hair that needs a lot of moisture and conditioning. There are better products.
