The tips fell off immediately

Like many others, I've had a Paul Mitchell brush for over 10 years and I absolutely love it. Just recently bought a pair and wow what a difference. My old one still has all the white tips and works fine except the paint on the wooden handle is a little scratched. The tips of the new ones fell off immediately, the whole thing was done incredibly cheaply. Big disappointment. I wouldn't mind paying more for a quality brush like this. This"cheaper"-a waste of money.

Old reliable friend.

I ordered this brush as a replacement thinking I had lost my favorite Paul Mitchell 413 brush which I bought around 2001. A lot has changed since then, but this brush never has. My 413 styling brush has seen my ups and downs, short hair, long hair, bangs and no bangs. This brush is ideal for detangling fine hair. Thanks to Paul Mitchell for still making this brush. Now I have a shower and a dry brush! Edit: 9 months later. So it's still an old trusted friend, but as proof that "they don't make…

Not the same in hair care

I loved this brush as a teenager. My best friend had one and I used it all the time until she got me one for Christmas a year ago. I was glad to order it 25 years later when I saw it at Revain. I've been using it for 3 months now and it's not the same. I feel like it's tearing my hair out, it's just not what it used to be. I am so disappointed.

Simply awesome brush

My mom had this brush over 20 years ago and the paint is finally peeling off the handle. The bristles were completely intact. She asked me if I could randomly find it online because she knows I'm good at finding random things. Luckily, the numbers on her brush weren't completely worn out, so finding them was very easy. She was amazed that it was still in production. I decided to order for myself, I really liked it. Can't speak to the durability of the small white brush tips as mentioned in some

*sad trombone* good for a hairbrush

I bought this to replace the same one I had for about ten years that was finally starting to fall apart. The handle is no longer made of wood. It looks like plastic and is not that heavy. It doesn't pull through or comb my very fine hair straight like the old one. Now fluffier. The ridges on the bristles are already falling off and I've had them since August 2020. I can't tell if it's because they don't make them the way they used to or if they're fake. My original was from the salon.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • A few bits and pieces

Rubbish --- They don't make them like they used to

I had this comb years ago and loved it so much I bought another one. They literally don't make them the way they used to be. Four months have passed and most of the white tips have fallen off. (See image.) Also, the brush feels cheap. It used to be made from durable, delicate wood. I'm not sure if they do now. I don't want to scratch or cut it to figure it out, but it's easy; it can be light wood or plastic. In any case, it's not as beautiful and durable as it used to be.

  • Weight
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
