Description of Paulas Choice SKIN PERFECTING Exfoliant Facial Blackheads

GENTLE NON-ABRASIVE LEAVE-ON EXFOLIATOR: with 2% BHA (Beta hydroxy acid) to unclog & diminish enlarged pores, exfoliate dead skin cells, smooth wrinkles & brighten & even out skin tone. Combats redness, wrinkles, aging, enlarged pores, & blackheads. PACKAGING MAY VARY. Dramatically improves skin's texture for radiant youthful even-toned skin. Beta hydroxy acid (BHA also known as salicylic acid) mimics the natural exfoliation process of younger skin by helping it shed extra layers while unclogging and clearing pores. HYDRATE, BRIGHTEN & SMOOTH FINE LINES: Our unique, non-abrasive, leave-on exfoliant is gentle enough for daily use on all skin types. Exfoliates dead skin cells while clearing pores for a more even tone, plus it visibly reduces fine lines & wrinkles. Paula's Choice facial exfoliants are gentler on delicate skin of the face & neck than an abrasive face scrub, which can cause micro-tears. A BHA leave-on exfoliator delivers hydration & can exfoliate directly inside the pore & improve how the pore works. Paula's Choice Skincare makes products that work. No fragrance, no parabens, no fluff. Just effective, science-backed formulas that target any concern from wrinkles to breakouts.

Its pros: In addition to blackheads, one of my problems is acne and pimples on the temples / cheekbones (most often they break out due to malnutrition, but also in general due to very oily skin). Tonic for a month + - removed almost all my pimples. I attach photos before, 2 weeks after use and a month later. I don’t know if the difference is so noticeable on the screenshots, but in life it’s just heaven and earth. I use it at night every other day or two. Has cons: If used after enzyme powder,

May cause skin cleansing, but that means it works!

There is a lot of misinformation in other reviews of this product. It's a chemical peel, so no additional chemical or physical peels are needed unless you're sure your skin can handle it. In addition, this product can cause reddening of the skin. I've been using this product for 2 weeks and my skin is clearing up. Yes, I have a few pimples at the moment, but I can already see an improvement in enlarged pores and fine lines, and I can remove blackheads very easily (I use an extractor, not my…

At first I thought it was great, but then.

Ugh. I was SO excited to try this based on the rave reviews I read. This is going to be a long review because I feel I need to be specific. Over the past few years I've tried too many products to count, from natural cleansers, organic oil cleansers, drugstore products, expensive creams and potions, even Rodan and Fields and nothing has worked for me. I really hoped this would be my miracle. I'm in my 30's and have suffered from acne for many years although I never had it as a teenager. I have a

MIRACLE IN A BOTTLE

I have every skin problem imaginable. Rosacea, acne (hormonal, cystic, whiteheads, blackheads), dehydration, excess oiliness, redness, all of that. I've probably spent thousands on many different products trying to find one that would at least leave a mark. I've had many procedures, many visits to the dermatologist. Nothing I have ever used, nothing I have ever done has had such a profound effect on the way my skin looks. With rosacea, my face was often hot, bumpy, and burned. While my face is…

Devil liquid is good for grooming and masking

This overpriced little bottle contains unholy water blessed by Lucifer himself. If you like the feeling of wanting to scratch your face but can't scratch it because it also stings like you just held a bristle pad to your dry face and then squeezed a whole lime on it and added a little bit of course salt, that might be the product for you. I've used it ONCE and my face is hotter than a goat from a blowtorch. There is a "cleansing" and then 3 gallons of gasoline is poured on the face and the…

Keeps my SF good for my face

They really help keep my oil glands in place. When I'm not using it, my nose almost feels bumpy/prickly due to clogged pores. One use of this really helps and the results are noticeable/visible overnight! I only use it 2-3 times a week because if I use it more often I get really big cysts like pimples. When I first incorporated this into my routine, I started with just 1 time per week and then found my sweet spot at 2-3 times per week. I only use it at night and wipe it off with a square cotton

interacts terribly with the sun

This material can be described as a miracle in a bottle. When I apply it to my (rather dry) skin it goes from polluted, irritated and bright red to calm, clear and glowing skin overnight. Most people who write about it use it incorrectly. This is an acid peel. This means that you should use it once a week, twice at most (if your skin is oily and requires a lot of work). It should not be absorbed into your skin. You should keep feeling that greasy feeling until you wash it off. Also, it should…
