Coffee not hot enough

Coffee not hot enough. I release steam as instructed, heat the coffee basket holder, heat the espresso cup. not hot enough yet.

Pavoni is not for everyone!

We have had Pavoni for several years. We've tried again and again, with varying degrees of success. The grind is very finicky, we tried a few from a local cafe specifically for Pavone but were unsuccessful. We then bought a burr mill and were able to try out several degrees of grinding. Let me add that tamping pressure is just as important as grind size. Our local coffee maker repair shop recommended that we tap the bathroom scale to maintain consistency. Picky but worth the effort

I didn't drink coffee until I was 40 but I started when I bought this to satisfy my wife's espresso cravings. She's from Italy and didn't like the supercar I bought a few years ago.
