I checked the tightness of all 3 check valves and found that they leak through the gasket too much until the air doesn't even reach the bottom of the tank (24 inches deep). However, the reflux was ok because the broken seal is behind the valve. Luckily I had some acrylic glue with me and was able to seal it myself and I think acrylic nail polish would probably work too.
