🐠 Pawfly 1.6 Inch Hydroponic Pump Air Stone Bubble Ceramic Diffuser for Aquarium Fish Tank - Set of 4-8 PCS Review

I bought these after being told my goldfish needed something for air. With a small tank it makes a lot of noise but definitely gets the job done. My goldfish seems to be doing much better than before.

So before ordering I didn't think they were too good at first. After putting them in the tank, wow what an improvement. My fish didn't like them for three weeks, now he loves them. They quietly eject lots of small bubbles and work better than I expected. Highly recommended!

This was the first time I have bought an air stone since I just bought my fish and aquarium. I soaked one in water for a while as directed. As soon as the air stone was in the aquarium, my fish would immediately approach and start playing in the bubbles. It was too cute! I definitely recommend these air stones.

This is great. Works much better than the bubble bars I bought from Pawfly. I have 4 packs but have only used 2 of them so far. I attached one in the front and one in the back with suction cups (suction cups not included) which allows bubbles to be released on either side of the air stone. My fish love playing in the bubbles and even the shrimp love riding the bubbles to the surface and then returning to their plants.

Produces a consistent amount of bubbles; Low air pressure creates very small bubbles, while high air pressure creates large numbers of 1/4 inch or smaller bubbles. High pressure (20-40 gallon air pump) creates a strong surface disturbance and some local flow in the 20 gallon length. Seems to work more efficiently when the bubbles exit straight up.

I have used some of these on a 950 GPH commercial air pump and it has worked well. They were soaked for 24 hours before I used them. I opened my bucket and removed the plant and noticed that these vents only vomit HUGE bubbles, not quick little bubbles like my 4 inch Coke vent. They were fine initially, so I don't know how long they didn't work properly. All air stones do this. I have a regulator on my manifold and when I turn it down the large bubbles stop but very few small bubbles appear…

Update: All 8 work great! They release many even bubbles for their size. The manufacturer replaced the original batch which had some issues and all work great! Great product and support - would have no hesitation in recommending them for hydroponics/aquariums. ---------- Initially most worked fine, 1 didn't bubble and some had a different resistance.
