Description of Pawfly 8-12 Inch Air Stone: Enhance Your Aquarium with Grey Bubble Stone Bar Bubbler Airstones

Micro bubbles dissolve more oxygen into water and burst peacefully on the water surface. An abundant cascade of tiny bubbles is ideal for fish, betta, shrimp, and all kinds of aqua creatures. MODEL: ACB-300. Jetting Volume: 17 L/min, Minimal Pump Power Needed: 7 W or 0.025 MPa. Measures 12 inch in length by 1.5 inch in width. Fits for standard 3/16 inch ID airline tubing. DO NOT BUY. The bar only creates bubbles at the ends.

The bar is of poor quality and the price is higher than similar brands at my local pet store. Only get bubbles at the ends of the pole. It looks very cheap, glue is visible on the thin plastic frame.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unreliable

Don't bother

This bubbler is terrible! No bubbles even at full power - bugs me because half my tank has perfect bubbles - and the other bubbler still works but that one needs replacing - I won't even bother with it - I've got this thing at full power and nothing

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Good but not great

Bubbles don't come out of the whole stone

Soaked for an hour. I pumped air into the stone in the water with full force. Most bubbles will exit through the seal. It was a waste of money. Wouldn't recommend or buy this company again. Terrible. It doesn't just "not quite" work; it doesn't work 99% of the time.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Low maintenance

Absolute rubbish, don't worry.

Bought two of these and just received them. One of them was already half open, and on closer inspection both were cracked. I tried them anyway and the cracks cause all the bubbles/air to come out in one place and not through the bars like it should.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Dubious purchase for old people

Not the biggest of the Bubble Stone Bars.

After we ordered this one and received it broken (photo shows a tear in it) we sent it back for replacement. The replacement arrived undamaged but as can be seen in other photos the bubbles are now escaping through the black seal on the sides. I give it 2 stars due to the poor quality of the two bars received, decent price and speed. with which a replacement was sent (but still defective).

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Erratic flow of bubbles through wand.

Delivery was fast, but bubble flow was uneven. The packaging says to soak it in water for 15 minutes before use. I soaked the stone for several hours, but bubble flow was less in the middle of the stick than either end. One side also had better flow than the other side. I have a large pump so pressure is not an issue. The problem must be set in stone. No improvement after 2 days. Cannot recommend this product.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Vulgarity

OK. Needs improvement.

Needs some work. Better would be a 2nd or 3rd way to hook up the tubing and mount it on a 1.5-2" stand with super suction cups. Maybe they'll make one. I don't know. Either that or a heavier base so they don't float and stay in place. I've tried putting it under the substrate but it keeps popping up. Glued to the bottom glass under the substrate with the suction cups I installed, but this reduced the bubbles coming out. They bubble up great, but you really need a way to put them where they stay

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Without automatic controls

Millions of tiny bubbles

I use it on the back of a 15 gallon 24 inch hexagonal tank instead of a cheap printed and taped backdrop. A very spectacular moving wall of bubbles with an additional tank that is high and can be quite hypnotic if you stare at it for a long time. Each side of the hexagon is eight inches long and the stone fits perfectly between the corners. It oxygenates the water perfectly, I have bottom dwellers (plecos) and I've never seen them rush to the top to gulp air from the surface. The stone requires

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some cons
