Description of Pawfly Release Airstones Aquarium Hydroponics

Medium Bubbles: The air stone bars produce an abundant cascade of bubbles which form a rectangle bubble wall, increasing oxygen in your aquarium or fish tank. Model: ASB100; jetting volume: 1.3 L / min; recommended air pump power: > 2.5 W; standard ID airline tubing: 3/16 inch. Fit for aquariums and tank. Mineral Material: This air stone is made of natural mineral material with a green plastic base, causing no effect to the health of your lovely fish. Stable in Water: Each stone measures 4.5 x 0.8 x 0.5 inches (L x W x T) and weighs 1 oz. Its cuboid shape allows it to lie steadier than other shapes in the tank. Easy to Use: Soak the stone completely in water for 1 hour before use. Clean regularly by a brush as they get clogged after weeks or months of usage.

Works well! in Aquarium Pumps and Filters

These air stones work well and are inexpensive. I've only used two of these in my 100 gallon goldfish pond and they have worked for months with no problems and no clogs! If that's important to you, they're not very heavy, so some people might want to weigh them down a bit. It doesn't matter what I need them for and I just add them to create airflow and I don't care if they move a little in the tank.

Not a bad price if you're trying to save on costs

I like the design of these air stones because the flat bottom makes them easy to install on the surface of my hydroponic tank with adhesives. Airflow is decent. I have a 27 gallon tank with 10-12 gallons of water inside that probably needs 6 of these vents, but my air pump only powers 4 outlets. Cons: Not ideal for large tanks unless you use multiple. Air stones were clogged/broken upon arrival

Don't bother - Revised Please read

They don't work. Just like this one. Buy something else. I was wrong in my original rating. The problem turned out to be my air hose, not the rocks. As soon as I change the tube the stones worked so I apologize to the manufacturer for the erroneous review. I assumed they were stones, but subsequent troubleshooting showed that assumption was wrong. I'm rating them 4 stars instead of 5 because they work but aren't as good as the more expensive ones I have. However, money is not a bad option. I…

As far as acceptable but not noteworthy

These airstones were purchased to add air to the water for my hydroponic lettuce, herbs and tomatoes. Transparency and some other parameters I was asked to evaluate do not apply to this product. They work, but don't produce as many bubbles as store-bought ones. They're kind of weird compared to the others. There was some sandy debris in the packaging. So far they seem to be working well enough. They're unobtrusive, but they should suffice. I will edit my review if they shed the sand and clog my

One didn't work, little air.

While not noisy themselves, they are not of very good quality. On arrival 3 of them were working but one was barely leaking air. I followed the instructions and soaked them in water before use. I changed the line thinking it might be the problem and it never got fixed. I am using a 10w air pump with 2x125GPH outputs. In my 50 gallon aquarium I have found that using 4 2" vents provides a lot more air than 3 of these 4" vents. It's like one of the 2 inches blew off one of those 4 inches. They…
