Most other cardboard claws don't last very long and cats "waste" the ends because they can't get into a good position with them. This triangular design is available like SIX scrapers. I just flipped it over and rotated it to the optimal position for my cat to scratch the top half of her face. The ribbing also feels firmer or thicker than most and lasted longer. My cat swallows it at least twice a day, even without catnip. The best ratio of price and quality!

I did not like this scratching post. This is too small for all of my cats to make it through the triangle except my 5.5 lb baby. All my others are too big and they are regular sized cats, 8-13 pounds. It's also 3 separate parts, not a complete triangle. You have to push the pieces together to form a triangle and it's not as strong as our other one piece triangle scraper. Took me a minute to figure it out from the start. At first I thought they sent me the wrong product. However, when I went back and looked at the photo, I saw how the pieces of the puzzle fit together and no tools are required - just a firm push to connect the pieces together.
