I only bought this because it was on sale for $15. And our cat got her paw "Chinese Finger Trap" Ed in a cat door that had a real door. The cut out is perfect for prep, not really necessary as you can just outline the inner circle. This product defines that everyone has a friend who can and will fix anything with tape.

This thing is pretty cute. Easy to install if you have a decent jigsaw puzzle, great instructions, functionality. Our smaller kitten understood immediately. Our big fat cat Tom is afraid of him, but he's afraid of everything, including his own poop. It weighs almost 20 pounds and can carry it well. Our dog also tried to get through but only his head fit so he sat outside and cried because he felt left out.

As you can see, as a woman I had to cut out part of my vented door molding to fit my ears. Then the glue wasn't sticking close enough to the wood to hold. I taped it to the door and now it's holding up. Afterthought: I wish I had cut off the ears instead of the ledge, but then the cats might not have known it was their door. The door works, and that's really the most important information. If an experienced person installed it, it would look better and it would be much easier to install.

I bought this product because I thought it looked like many others. Installation was quick and the product works as it should. I thought/hoped the frame would screw on but it's only double sided tape on each side of the door which is disappointing but the brush function works well to prevent our cat from tossing so much hair out of the basement. Just as easy to clean. It's been there for a few months, cleaned a few times. Let's see if the tape lasts long, but in the worst case I can put on new…

Very easy to install. I finally have a laundry/utility room large enough to fit my crate and food in it, so I needed a door. I bought the larger one first but of course when it arrived I found that I couldn't use it with my type of paneled doors. So I opted for this one instead. .
