🐱 Pawtitas Glow in The Dark Cat Collar: Safety Buckle, Removable Bell, Ideal for Kittens and Cats Review

I like this collar! I have lifeguards and receptionists so I'm always on the lookout for collars! It's very well made, which seems hard to come by without spending a ton of money. I have a small 6 lb adult cat that needs a new collar. Due to her tiny size, I needed something that would fit her without being too saggy or too bulky. It is so sweet; I love it! I take the bell off because she hates it (and so do I). Very happy with this purchase. (I hope the pictures help someone!)

DO NOT BUY We bought this collar for our kitty in September because of the bell and glow in the dark element. A few days ago (January) I noticed that the fur under the collar looked weird. As I explored, I found that it had been pulled out. The whole area under her collar is bare from that awful stuff. (See photo) This collar has been tormenting my sweet kitty for months! I'm afraid! The product must be removed because of animal cruelty. DO NOT BUY.

My cat gets really obsessed with the collar sometimes and tries to lick and bite it. He'd already frayed it a bit around the edges in the week and a half he'd been wearing it. Sometimes he gets his tooth caught in a dangling thread and needs help to remove the collar. It was deactivated yesterday when I got home from work, I guess it caught on his tooth and fell off after he started wrestling with it. So it looks like the tear off feature works well. Such a cute collar! I ordered it for my black cat. It is very well made and I can say that it is comfortable to wear (I hate when inside the collar there are some rough edges due to plastic, stitching etc). I removed the call as it can only be indoors and I think our whole family will go crazy hearing it all day. I took off a star because it doesn't glow very well in the dark, despite sitting in sunny or well-lit areas for most of the day. I was hoping to see him at night as he is all black…

Looks good and appears to be quite well made. The glow dose works as expected and lasts for several hours, but of course for the glow to be visible it needs to be pitch black, that's the main thing so you don't step on the kitten in the dark. I have a feeling people are saying that waiting for the LED to be bright doesn't work and that's just not realistic. I would prefer not to have a tear off feature as I would like to put an ID tag on my pet kitten and I feel this collar can easily come off…

This Pawtitas collar is a replacement for a Coastal Pet collar that broke completely after two years of ownership. I was looking for something practical and decided to look for other options. Nice collar. It's cute and glows in the dark (but not for very long - I'd say give or take a minute, pretty disappointing). I ordered the blue one for my 4 month old kitten and she looks adorable on it. I took the call which was very easy. Just a quick dash and phew, ring the bell!
