Perfect solution to metal railing/concrete step problems

My daughter bought a 23 year old townhouse in February 2013. No attention was paid to where these railings attach to the concrete steps and landing. As a result, the attachment points (which were once filled with cement) were empty concave circles for rain to sit in and the rails to rust. After a thorough cleaning and treatment with anti-corrosive paint, I filled in the voids at each PC-Crete attachment point. It worked great. PC-Crete is easy to shape and dries quickly. Pros

Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Did a great job on my garden statues.

I bought this product to repair two concrete statues. It worked great for both applications. The first was a popular man with a lantern. His hand holding the lantern started to weaken and I was afraid his hand would fall off. I used this and then repainted it and it's like new. It's very easy to use. You simply take a small amount, bend and roll it in your hand to combine two different ingredients. Then it's like putty and you just press it where it's needed and mold it into the shape you want.

Pros
  • Cures in less than 60 minutes, cuts, mixes, applies and shapes
Cons
  • No result

Ideal for minor masonry repairs. Lighter and cleaner than sealing.

I have an old brick house and I am constantly filling in small areas where grout has chipped or popped out over the years. I usually use caulk to fix grout, but this time I had very little work and didn't need a whole tube of caulk. I'm so glad I found this. It's like "play-do" or "dumb putty". You shape it between your fingers to "stir" it, then press it into the mortar, shaping it as you go. Like silly putty, you can roll it between your hands to form a long snake shape that's great for thin…

Pros
  • Hand formed epoxy putty
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
