I have an old brick house and I am constantly filling in small areas where grout has chipped or popped out over the years. I usually use caulk to fix grout, but this time I had very little work and didn't need a whole tube of caulk. I'm so glad I found this. It's like "play-do" or "dumb putty". You shape it between your fingers to "stir" it, then press it into the mortar, shaping it as you go. Like silly putty, you can roll it between your hands to form a long snake shape that's great for thin mortar joints. Dries quickly and adheres well to my existing joints. Three tips: 1) Although the instructions show you can mix it with your bare hands, the epoxy will leave marks on your skin. You can use gloves for easier cleaning; 2) One tube won't go far, so you'll probably want to grab a few tubes if you have a larger project; 3) The color of the epoxy doesn't quite match my brick grout (nor does the repair grout). Just be careful if it is very important that the color of your item matches the color of the epoxy.
