Very stretchy but not enough for my table legs. Says it stretches to 7 inches. More like 3-4". The rest works great! As someone else said, you should place it where the seam isn't under the foot.

These "socks" are easy to use, just slip them over a chair leg and you're done. Some may not like the looks, but they are functional and therefore you should take care that the legs of the chair do not scratch the floor.

I always thought it looked a bit silly but they work so well! I never have to worry about sticking them back to the chair legs when people lift the chair to move it. And they harmonize with my chair legs of the same color.
