It's unreliable but works with most games where the Wiimote isn't what you want. It's cheap too, so that's great. A professional controller is your best bet if you're an avid gamer, but for casual gaming, it gets the job done and that's enough. It's not the best, just good enough

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • is embarrassing

Affordable quality, best in older systems

Wired Fight Pads are probably the best Wii U controllers you can get. Comfortable, light and well made. And the price is definitely right! The Metal Mario version looks cool and doesn't. slippery as I was a little scared it would be. So far the metallic looking plastic has held up great after use (about a month) with no chipping or anything.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • high price

These controllers are great. I have them in several characters

These controllers are excellent. I have her in several characters. I also have a pad. I really enjoy using them as they remind me of the old Gamecube controllers, but they're a bit fiddly considering I'm so used to Xbox One controllers. It's not the controller itself, it's just uncomfortable bouncing back and forth with different sensations.

Pros
  • Decent performance

Fingerprint magnet as it should be.

This thing gets dirty quickly! Damn my quick pollution of all my portable electronics and devices. I'm sure it will wash out, but that probably requires far more regular washing than gamepads that aren't, well, reflective - seriously, I could use this thing as a handheld mirror in a pinch. IF recently deleted. My only real disappointment with this is that the bottom isn't chrome plated either, only the top.

Pros
  • Entertaining
Cons
  • No insurance

Great Controller - Nintendo Systems

If you're looking for something resembling a Gamecube controller, you'll need to look elsewhere. If you're just looking for a controller with the same button layout as the Gamecube controller, then this is the one for you. I only bought it to be able to play Mario Kart 8. I'd rather use a Gamecube controller, but unfortunately Mario Kart 8 doesn't support a USB adapter. It gets the job done, but other than the button layout, it's completely different from the Gamecube controller.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick

  • Neutral

Works with the new Nintendo NES Classic

The controller sockets on the new console are the same as the sockets that plug into the socket on the Wii remotes. The A and B buttons serve the same purpose as on a classic controller. The + and - buttons work like Start and Select. You can use either the joystick or the d-pad to control the game and I really like the feel of the joystick in these classic games. The home button can be used instead of the reset button on the console to return to the main/save screen. A modern controller feels…

  • Some small things

Purchased for use with modified Wii for retro gaming. Absolutely amazing, it was on sale for $9.99 and outperformed the Gamecube Circa controllers I bought locally for $14.99. The D-Pad isn't as good as a legitimate Nintendo controller, but MILES higher than the Circa is good, just not quite good for a first batch. The only complaint (unrelated to functionality) is that while the controller looks cool and shiny, it does get dirty from fingerprints. So if you suffer from OCD, choose one of the…

Good controller for Wii or Wii U

This controller is very good, especially for the price I paid. This controller is designed to replace the classic Nintendo Wii or Wii U controller or Classic Pro controller. This essentially gives you a GameCube-style button layout that can be plugged into a Wii remote. This is NOT a Gamecube controller replacement. It doesn't have the same connector used on regular Gamecube controllers. So if you intend to use it with a Gamecube or connect it to a Gamecube for Wii U adapter or Gamecube ports…
