Great for Sony a6000, however.

I bought this for my Sony a6000 knowing it would be too small to need a camera grip but I just bought a Sony case which fits the body perfectly and is sooooo better to grip and is to be used. . The strap works great with both and it doesn't work when it's very tight in the palm of your hand. It should be a little closer to the ankles so you can easily reach the shutter button and all the buttons. What works well with the case is that you can attach it to the tensioner on the bottom without…

It worked on my a6000

.just like I wanted. I see that some of the negative reviews are true; This thing is only good for certain cameras, and if you're expecting it to be like that magic strap that keeps everything right where you need it, then you'll probably be disappointed. I tighten it when I'm walking, pull the buckle a bit to loosen it when I want to switch to shooting mode. It's safe when I know I won't drop it. I like it because it's very low, very well made, the padding is ok if it fits your camera properly

  • Good but not great

I love carrying my camera with this strap.

The connection plate that attaches to the bottom of the camera and the strap make it difficult to lay the camera on this surface, so it must rest on the rear window. Otherwise, I like to carry the camera on this strap - it's lightweight, like it's glued to my palm. Update: I've been using this strap for a long time, actually I'm on vacation with it right now. The camera is so easy to carry and so reliable! As soon as I press it against my hand, I have full control over the camera. There's no…

I know camera side straps aren't for everyone, but this one is VERY good. I was able to try it today and it did everything I hoped it would. The quick adjustment is perfect and I found I had no trouble accessing all the controls. My previous experience with the side strap was on an old Canon 35mm film camera. I found it useful for this camera, but it was awful when someone else wanted to borrow the camera and you had different sized hands. This fixes that particular issue, but I found something

Very versatile clutch

Great strap for your camera. The strap is very easy to put on when you put it on and, perhaps more importantly, it's just as easy to unfasten when you put the camera in your bag. A big plus is that the base of the Arca Swiss is integrated into the mount, making the grip more versatile. The strap feels very comfortable, one of my best friends is a professional photographer and he was very impressed with the feel, maybe I'll give him one for Christmas. One of the best things about Peak Design is…

Requires camera and photo redesign

I had to change this to make it even useful because if one end of the strap is attached to a tripod mount the entire geometry will be wrong. If you pull it too hard, the camera presses too hard against your palm, making it difficult for your thumb to reach the buttons on the back and even for your index finger to reach the shutter button. I fixed these issues by replacing the included tripod mounting plate with a 3" long plate. This plate rotates and moves, which now allows me to move the strap

Clutch belt off the hook!

I first bought a Peak Design product when I was looking for a camera strap for my Nikon d750. I found their quick release anchor system really innovative and practical. I also picked up the leash and thought it was nice, but didn't use it that much, not because of the design, it just didn't seem practical because it was attached to my wrist. It's still a decent product for a quick, inexpensive security solution. So I overlooked the scrim on the scrim and didn't take it into account based on my…
