Much lighter than expected

Light and fairly flat. First noticed as a defiant, special eBike cover until I turn on the defiant flashing light on the back. I don't care - I want the cars to see me :) The only reason I don't get 5 stars is because my head isn't the smallest and I'm at the smallest mid-level - you can look elsewhere, if you really have a smaller head. .

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Problems

Padding uncomfortable

I would give it 5 stars except the sharp hard edges of the front bolsters cut into my head. It causes discomfort and I think the blow might end up cutting me. I have contacted the seller but have not received a response. I would replace it if they confirmed it was a defect and not a design flaw. I returned it and bought a Bell Stratus MIPS which is highly rated by Consumer Reports and Va Tech.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Speed

I find it offers better protection than a regular helmet in the event of a fall. However, I feel that the light provided can only be seen at a shorter distance and should be brighter. Also, the light should have a more visible flash. The proposed colors are a bit muted. For safety reasons, the colors should be lighter so that they can be seen easily. It's not a bad helmet, but there's plenty of room for improvement.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Why the hell are there 12 stickers in the helmet?

Helmet ok but big F (-2 stars) for badly placed advertising sticker inside. There are 10 to 12 stickers that left a sticky residue after removing them and it took me almost 45 minutes to remove them as best I could. Styrofoam glue residue is difficult to remove, and who needs promotional stickers, stickers that say which side is FRONT and which is BACK? Any person over the age of 7 will distinguish front and back. Advertising must be placed on the outside of the product packaging. Nobody likes…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
