Pediped Sydney Flex Fisherman Shoes: Ultimate Comfort for Toddler Boys Review

After just three months of accidental wear, both shoes had the entire toe area of the insole black and completely rotted. The shoes are now unwearable and I had to throw them away. When I contacted Pediped they said there was nothing they could do as the sandals were purchased through Best Buy. I am very disappointed with both the customer service and the quality of these sandals. This was my first Pediped purchase (I usually buy Stride Rite or See Kai Run) and I will not be buying from them…

We live in a very warm climate and spend most of our time in sandals. This is the fourth pair of these sandals that I have ordered for my son. He is very picky about his shoes and has never complained about them. They look cute in shorts and dressy enough for church in khakis. We will order them every year until he outgrows the pediped boots.

In size, high-quality leather, support for the arch of the foot, the son is satisfied. They look and fit exactly how I hoped they would. Footers are very flexible.

The Pediped has always proven to be a comfortable shoe for children. I've been buying this brand since my son was born. It's many years old now and this recent purchase still proves that the Pediped brand is top notch. He loves comfort. If he's comfortable, I'm happy.

Do not fit my child as they are a bit tight as this Orm doesn't seem to walk like the other pied ones. The leather of this shoe is also a bit stiff and rough.

Comfortable but poorly made. They were completely ruined after 2 weeks of daily use (school only, mostly indoors). For this price I expect the shoes to last more than 10 days. Other than that, I like the adjustable width and leather construction. Keep in mind that it costs about $5 a day.

These shoes are very cute! However, they come big for their size. I found them to be 0.5 to 1 size larger. Velcro straps on the outside of the heel and inside of the foot make it easy to adjust to any foot. They look very comfortable!

I received used shoes. Tried on many times, worn at least half a dozen times. The insole had dirt and creases/wear marks and the soles of the shoes had dirt, gravel and what appeared to be animal dung! Best Buy refunded my money, but how come? The shoes felt good and looked comfortable although the leather is a bit stiff.

I bought these for my seven year old and he loved them. He calls them his "soft and comfortable" sandals. Not only are they comfortable, but they are good enough to wear to a wedding or party during the day. A bit pricey but definitely worth it.

Great quality and great fit! We have always had good experiences with the Pediped brand. These are true to size. I love how both sides of the sandal are attached with velcro straps for the perfect fit.

I received the sandals saying "Each pair comes with an extra 2mm insole" but the shoebox I received didn't have them. Do I have to return an item to receive the sandals with the described insole? The sandals are quite big and my son definitely needs insoles to wear them.

Great shoes for my son. The leather lining is particularly perfect. The shoes were also accidentally exposed to rain with no damage. In terms of durability, the workmanship is good enough that the shoe can be passed on to the next child.

When I opened the box and saw these sandals I liked them. You are very sweet and beautiful. Hope they last long. However, I'm not sure if it's real leather.

These are excellent shoes that are perfectly made for a toddler's feet. It's a shame my son outgrew them so quickly, but I would buy them again. They're expensive too, but of course worth the money if you can afford them.

The heel of this shoe is big enough that my son's foot slides right in and out. I went to the Pediped store where they measured his foot and I ordered exactly the recommended size and it was still too big. The length fits, but the width doesn't. Will have to send them back.

The insole is leather and gel so I find it comfortable. This shoe also has Velcro straps on the left and right side of each shoe so you can adjust them as needed. They are well made and reasonable for the price.

Nice and well made shoe but not wide enough for my son's foot. I have bought Pedipeds for my daughter in the past and of course I turned to this brand when I was looking for sandals for my son. However, he has very wide feet (think bear cub square feet) and I couldn't even fit his foot in that sandal. I wanted to buy leather sandals for him and finally found a similar model in "See Kai Run", model "Jude".

Very good quality sandals but a little wide. I ordered these for our 3 year old boy this coming summer. Hopefully they'll be a little better on his feet by then.
