I have bought 2 sets (4 straps in total) of this article. In each application, the rubber separated after about 30 days of use. I didn't put them on my glasses so hard that they shattered. I thought after the first case, so I definitely eased the rest of the usage... same result. Rubber is just rubbish, as is the design. I love leather straps but would not recommend them to anyone.

The rubber has started to tear, not fully broken yet. Not happy with the flat cord, not flexible enough to lay comfortably and gets uncomfortable around the neck, my fault for having to go with a round cord.
