Terrible Performance: Waste of Money

Using this electronics product, our team found that there was very poor signal transmission. The repeater kit didn't live up to its claims and the range was way too SHORT- even in extremely close proximity. The product proved to be a waste of money with its poor functionality being the main disadvantage. The one positive aspect is that the setup was fairly easy to do. .

Pros
  • Easy to install and use.
Cons
  • Requires drilling a hole in the door to install the peephole receiver.

Out of service: Remote control extensions

Purchased and it didn't work with my existing setup. I figured it was just not compatible so I bought an IR repeater from the brand it was clearly intended for and it still doesn't work. So a defective device. It seems to be a common theme with this thing.

Pros
  • Installation location: The IR receiver with door viewer can be installed in cabinet doors, ledges or any other flat surface that is not transparent.
Cons
  • Nothing here
