Peerless ACC570 Joist Ceiling Mounts Review

The mount is secure and easy to install but looks very unfinished. The screws are left uncovered to keep them looking their best as the high quality finish demands. ideal for basements or exposed screws

This is a very strong mounting plate for a very strong attachment of the projector. It's well built. The rubber protecting the cables going through the hole needs to be cut to fit properly. Otherwise I would have given five stars. I would buy this mounting plate again.

This mount looks good and is very durable. I would buy this again. The only issue I had was that the screw holding the extension in place would not screw in, allowing the bar to rotate if someone bumped into it. Not a big deal since most people don't touch the projector once it's set up.

Surprisingly the thickness of the metal is thin but the construction is solid as it complements the peerless extension screwed into it. The design is excellent, there is a hole for the cable. As you can zoom in, I had to remove the drywall from the ceiling to insert the lock for a secure projector. plate is holding up well

Needed a way to ceiling mount a peerless system for my NEC projector. Measured my bars and used the included hardware to install. Extra drywall anchors used for the two opposite holes. I'm not sure about the specific gravity, but after attaching it to the joists it didn't go anywhere. This was the easiest part of setting up my home theater system.

Purchased Painted black and white to match Peerless mount. This saved time and money when buying a joist mount. Pros: High quality, solid construction. Looks professional. Possibility to route the cables through the built-in opening in the ceiling. Pairs well with other Peerless extensions and projector mounts. Cons: The screws are of poor quality and can be easily removed. More holes in the bracket than shown in the picture (4 instead of 2). Overall this is a quality product that pairs well…
