The Pelican has always been a great product. I bought them to store tools in high humidity. I put the tools and desiccant inside and am sure they are protected. This is actually the second large Pelican case I've owned (along with other smaller ones) and I've never had a complaint. Please note: They are folded tightly and have a certain weight even when empty. This might not be the best travel option unless you need serious protection and aren't concerned about the weight.

The only reason I gave this 3 stars is because unlike other Pelikan cases, in this case the bottom layer that touches the bottom of the case doesn't completely cover the entire surface of the case.
