The wraparound straps are fine, but the strap that connects them (and slips over the shoulder) is ridiculously short and completely stretched. He can't get close to two loops. Makes it unusable.

I love these risers. My Pelican has very flat handles which made my kayak much easier to carry! They could have been made with a thicker strap but they work great for me!

I have a large seat upstairs for me and my toddler which is quite bulky. It really makes it easier for me to carry when I'm traveling alone, even if I have my little one in tow. Highly recommended.

When you want to almost break your back in half and fight to the water to look cool. This is your product, the nylon webbing is like a razor blade cutting into your throat! Cons: Cheap production, poor quality and uncomfortable feeling.

This strap is perfect and comfortable! I wanted an easy way to carry my kayak and this is it. Didn't expect much and it exceeded my expectations. The material is ultra strong and can withstand heavy loads. I like the strap as it is very comfortable for a kayak around 50 pounds. Super value for money, I would buy again at any time.

I love this strap for carrying my board, it's a 28# SUP. Not so easy to put on a wet board in a hurry. I didn't have a permanent strap placement mark and didn't want to readjust so this is a pending strap placement fix after being on the water. For those who struggle with kayaks and heavy SUPs, this is likely to be a life saver. Especially for those who walk a long time to the launch site.

Following the instructions, I attached two straps to the Pelican Trailblazer and as soon as I buckled the shoulder strap and lifted it, the stitching on the loop that connected the metal clip broke. Both sides have only a threadline holding them together. Not durable at all. The shoulder strap is padded and relatively comfortable, and the buckles and hardware appear to be of good quality.

Edit original. The straps work very well. My first check before adjusting was to make the boat ride as high on my hip as possible (too high and it starts pulling the strap over my shoulder). With the chunky shape of a kayak you still can't walk freely, but you can move around much better on the ground than without a harness. I recommend. The original tape works very well. My Hurricane light kayak doesn't hang so I can walk freely but it is .way. better than no belt - much better. I'm not sure…
