Very Sticky

Didn't work for me. First, I should have read the product label better. I tried to fit a small amount into a very tight corner. It's generally impossible with this stuff - it sticks to your fingers, not the stuff. In an open area this would be great as you can put it down and then take off the Pater. I'm sure it's a good product, just not for me in this project.

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Requires Socket

I couldn't get the fusible piece to stay on the fabric. A friend suggested that I paper iron it for a few seconds and then take it off when it cools. It is still difficult to separate the paper from the fuser. But it works if you pet it first, you just have to save it so it will be cleaned up. Then the fixation will be perfect after ironing the top and bottom pieces of fabric together. I read everything on the box - nowhere does it say to iron with paper.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • so far so good

This tape is a must have for all seamstresses

I discovered this tape while looking for something to hold hems in place while sewing. It's even better than what I've used before as it's double sided tape which allows you to first tape the fabric together and slide around to get it right. You then use a steam iron to seal it. You don't even have to sew it, the steam sets the fabric. You can sew it on if you like. I used this special tape to make some cafe curtains for my laundry room. I did not sew stitches on the sides, pleated top or…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Easily wrinkled
