If you are sending small packages, do not use this scale. My packages are under the weight limit but I can't read the readings, the package is in the way. I would think that this problem is so obvious that it could be taken into account in product development. For me it's useless.

This scale was purchased to replace an identical scale that broke in the office. Although the description states that the scale is measured in 0.05 gram increments, the packaging and manual state that the increment is 2.0 grams. Before returning the Revain scale, I tested it and confirmed the higher value of 2.0 grams - as stated on the packaging and in the documentation. These are good scales, but either Revain or the manufacturer messed up the description and stats.

I bought PE10, which is almost identical to this model. I assume it is well made considering the high price. After only using it a few dozen times, I was shocked to break the top of my device: when I picked up the envelope I had placed on the scale, one of my fingers accidentally pushed up the plastic top of the scale. It's hard to see why anyone would give this scale anything other than 5 stars. It is a very compact and very accurate gauge that measures weight to the tenth of an ounce. It has many nice features including the ability to weigh the contents of a container by resetting the zero point to the container's weight.
