Eh Three stars is an average.

Let me say I didn't get a test reading certificate, it's relatively easy to read. What I don't like is that the light turns off automatically. To be honest, I wouldn't buy one again. I bought this one because I could afford a table.

Pros
  • Data Hold Voltage Tester
Cons
  • Expensive

It shows millivolts!

I needed something that could read 7 millivolts and it was extremely difficult to find a meter that wasn't ridiculously expensive that had this capability. It worked great! I'm sure it will come in handy for other things in the future too. Inexpensive, but at the same time very decent considering the price. The main thing is that it works properly.

Pros
  • Backlight + Lamp
Cons
  • Protection

Electrician Dad Recommended

My Dad told me to get this voltmeter. He's an electrician! He used to live nearby but has moved and now I have to deal with some issues in our house BY MYSELF. as if the whole room was dead and WHY!? No switches, NOTHING I can find so far, ugh!. :( To be honest I still can't fix it when I find the problem lol! But he challenged me so I'm obligated to report my findings. So according to " my dad everyone should have a Have voltmeter and after looking at the options he decided on this one so I…

Pros
  • Pointed Probes with Protective Caps
Cons
  • Minor Problems

This meter has been criticized for being "cheap". But it was sold cheap so I expect it to be cheap and I have no real problem with it. We all know it's not Fluke, HP etc. But it has also been marketed as a "pen style" and failed miserably. I've had pen style gauges in the past. It's the size of one of those giant multifunction remote controls from the 1980s. The pen-type meter, which has one of the probes built into the meter, is quite workable, but too large for the form factor and very…

Pros
  • Integrated test lead input
Cons
  • Small change
