✏️ Versatile Ysarvest Art Pencil Woodless Sketch Charcoal Pencils Set: Soft, Medium, Hard (3pcs) Review

Medium and hard were about what I expected, but soft was too hard for my liking. I usually prefer a little more sponginess for better distribution. Overall a good set, especially for the price.

Keep your hands clean. I remember drawing with charcoal once and it was just charcoal, it broke easily and there was nothing between my hands and the charcoal. I always ran out of spots on my face. Charcoal pencils are labeled on the sides, soft, medium and hard. I can store them in my drawing box by disassembling them.

These Ysarvest Art Pencils are great. The charcoal doesn't scratch like the charcoal I've used. I drew a rose with it. I managed to feather some areas and darken other areas. I like how they look. These charcoal pencils have a layer of paint to keep your hands clean. I could draw thin lines and fade them out to create highlights by tracing the areas I wanted to emphasize. Okay, that's pretty cool. Hands do not get dirty when in use. I'm new to using charcoal but I've always given up using charcoal because it was such a mess. But it's not a mess. If you touch the drawing you drew, you'll get embers on your hands (I just tried). But it doesn't mess up the page it's on - I drew in my journal and the page it left on is still clean. I've been playing with charcoal drawings lately. This set is very easy to use. HOW IT WORKS It comes in a plastic case with a plastic tray inside that holds the pens in place. I cut off the top, slide the tray in and out, and use it for storage to avoid breakage. EFFICIENCY These are excellent pencils. There is a coating on the outside so your hands don't get dirty.
