Works great. I was able to disassemble the socket to insert this braided lampshade that I bought from the tea. It took me a minute to figure out how to do it, but it's definitely doable, so I gave it 4/5 for the install. You have to loosen the tiny screws inside that hold the wires for the bulb, take it apart, thread the cord through the lampshade and put it back together. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

This pendant lamp is very easy to install. I just screwed the hook into the ceiling and put it on the hook. The cord is long enough to hang from an outlet. Of course I haven't transplanted my plant into a prettier macrame hanger yet, but my basement window didn't give this plant enough light. I screwed in the lightbulb and everything was fine. The plant is doing great.

I bought a kit for assembling a macrame pendant light. It was wonderful! The cord is very long and I knew it, but it is made out of rope that can be added to a beach or ocean decor. This is a great cable but would recommend for a fairly large hole in the lamp cage. Note that you cannot disassemble the base. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what other reviewers were talking about when they said they could analyze it. No you can not. You can cut the cords, but please do not try to pull or push the cords or otherwise damage the outlet.
