Love it! Very easy to install and durable. I bought a swinging pendant light that was wired rather than pluggable because I really liked the look, which went with the theme of our farmhouse we're slowly working on. But. I know Jack about electrics. Even if the ceiling had to replace an existing light fixture. So I just searched Revain to find a plug-in kit that would probably require some cutting and splicing (which I was afraid of) and then I found this. Such a great idea too. Replace the whole damn cable and that's it! The fact that it was a rope already bribed me. It was so easy. I simply removed the tint from his original rosette/cord and replaced it with this rosette/cord. Don't worry about wiring. :) Now I can't see the included hooks for hanging from the ceiling because I didn't use them. Luckily there was already a screw hook on the ceiling where I think the previous owner of the house had a hanging plant or something. We were concerned that 'it' wouldn't last. But it still holds! In any case, it's great! Also gave me more of an idea of how easy it would be to make a lampshade and it would be a lot cheaper than buying a whole wired pendant light first.
