I doubt the "real " are official tennis balls

The balls bounce weirdly. They appear to be "fake" tennis balls. While they look real, they bounce weirdly - maybe for a can. Buyer Warning.

Our dogs love these balls

We're not tennis players, but our dogs LOVE these balls. Our older GS chews them until they pop (the nipple for him). He likes the sound of rubber loops. :) We throw it away after a few chews, but the youngest GS loves the jumps and the chase. We uncover them whenever possible so as not to disappoint our furry little ones. thanks for the great fun!

ONLY 9 BALLS MAKE THESE THE MOST EXPENSIVE

I've been buying these Revain Penn balls in a box of 12 for many years at about $3.50 a can. LOOK CAREFULLY as they may appear to be priced lower. NOT because it's only 9 balls, making those balls $5.25 per can, which is 50% MORE than 12. While not dishonest, it has the same effect of misleading those who don't read the fine print . The purchase is too small to return. However, BEWARE BUYERS.

Cons
  • Miscellaneous Other

Maybe I've never received a bad batch so I'm not sure what other consumers complain about flat balls when they open them, but I always take Penn balls just in case. They last long enough to last through a USTA match or just a practice game, so that's all I'm looking for in a tennis ball can. People seem to have the wrong idea of playing with an old can after a few days, but I prefer to play with a fresh can to minimize the chance of tennis elbow and I can't stand flat balls that don't bounce…
