This ball is suitable for players of all skill levels. It has a slight click from the baseline and is nice and soft in the grid. It is durable and keeps its shape. My pickleball team loves this ball. Highly recommended.

These balls have stood up to several weeks of intense play. They are similar to the Onix with soft rebound and easy paddle control. Some "serious" players who only want hard balls will not like this. I, on the other hand (3.5) like to use them!

We play with these balls 3-4 times a week for about a month. Nobody broke. They jump well and evenly. One of the best things about them is their visibility! They are very easy to see in low light. Just ordered more.

We are new to this game and thanks to someone who has been playing for a while, he told us that the balls that came with our equipment were for indoor courts. Used Penn tennis balls so I assumed they would be of the same quality. Will buy again.

I hope to get the same elasticity as Franklin X-Balls but not so many holes and the material is thicker. Not as hard as Franklin. Others say they work best in colder temperatures because Franklins tend to crack easily in cold temperatures (50 and below).

Although these balls are listed as "outdoor", when I tried to use them on court, experienced players told me that the holes in the balls were too big and more suitable for indoor use be courts . They have good strength and quality but when there is a breeze these balls do not work.

These cucumber balls are really great. You have an in-between feeling on contact. They are neither super hard nor super soft. This makes them very playable and the bright yellow forms a fantastic contrast to the blue and green backdrop of the course. Even with poor eyesight I can see the spinning holes drilled in the ball when shots are fired. This really helps when trying to anticipate spin shot rebound. Very durable with good rebound and feel. What can I say? Those are good balls!

I'm new to pickleball and wanted all the gear I needed so I needed something to play with. I looked around and found this. Excellent quality and the most important thing for me is that they are NOT made in China! Instead, they are made in Taiwan. Just my form of a little personal protest. Either way, they're great and made for outdoor use. As a former tennis player, I trust the Penn brand of tennis balls. So why not continue with Pickleball. And these don't disappoint at all.
