Description of Penn Plax Internal Aquarium Replacement Fish & Aquatic Pets

Keep your water clean and clear with the replacement bio sponge for use in the Cascade 400 GPH Model CIF2 Internal Filter. The bio sponge filter removes ammonia and nitrites from your aquarium tank keeping your aquarium clean; healthy; and odor free. Filter sponge optimizes the colonization of beneficial aerobic bacteria which prevents the water from becoming cloudy and harming fish. Perfectly cut to fit into the Cascade 400 Internal Filter tray without any gaps which could allow pollutants to re-enter the water.

Great Replacement Filter for my Aquarium

Pet Supplies and aquatic pet owners know how important it is to keep their fish healthy and happy. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I was able to find a replacement filter that has greatly improved the water quality in my aquarium. The filter is easy to install and has made a noticeable improvement in the clarity of my tank. However the only con is that it can be a bit noisy, but that is a minor issue compared to the benefits it brings..

Pros
  • Easy to install and replace
Cons
  • Only compatible with specific models of Penn Plax internal aquarium filters

Misleading - not a 2 pack

The product description says there are 2 packs when you actually only get one filter. There are no problems with the filter, I just want to get what I paid for.

Pros
  • Filter Sponge optimizes the colonization of beneficial aerobic bacteria, preventing cloudy water and damage to fish.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other filters
