It worked. in articles for feeding and watering

Worked well. The fish were alive when I returned, but the Golden Mystery Snail had died. I can't say exactly why he died. It really left a huge mess on the bottom of the tank and the water was cloudy. Changed 1/2 of the water and all was good!

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Fabulous! suitable for feeders

We have used these feeders a number of times and they work great. To give you an idea we have a 20 gallon aquarium with 10 neon tetras and small bottom fish and we were usually gone for about 15 days and all the fish survived with no problems and that was only 14 days. Feed block so they work great and our fish didn't seem to "suffer" at all, they were all in perfect condition when we got home.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Not suitable for small aquariums

I bought this for my collegiate cockatiel as I didn't want to take it on a 4 hour drive during a one week break. Although this is for a larger tank, I figured it would be ok if I cut it in half. When I came back my fish turned white and swam on its side even though it was still alive. I immediately changed his water and made sure the tank was clean and luckily he was revived. Warning: Do not buy this for a smaller tank (I have 3.5 gallons) even if you plan to cut it in half.

Pros
  • Brilliantly finished
Cons
  • Some imperfections

NEVER AGAIN! on Cats

Putting this in my 58 gallon tank for my assortment of fish to eat while I'm gone for 5 days. I used two different types of feeders to see which is better. I used the one I used previously and had no problems with it; but that was the first time I used it. This one was still intact when I got back, the other one was gone. I decided not to feed them until that one was gone so I sat and watched the fish nibble on it and they ignored it for two days. It dissolved and gave the water a bubbly…

Pros
  • Looking Good
Cons
  • Hard to Tell

Not falling apart

Will not buy this item again. I was gone for 10 days and when I came back the feeder was still intact like I just threw it a few minutes ago. I decided to leave it in the tank to see if it eventually dissipated as intended and it never disintegrated even after leaving it there for over a month. The fish were fine while I was gone because I had left another fish feeder (different brand) just in case and it was almost gone when I got home. I use a biofilter so circulation was great so that's not…

Pros
  • Keeping my Fists
Cons
  • Functionality
