Description of Pentax 100mm f/2.8 WR D FA smc Macro Lens Review for Pentax Digital SLR Cameras
- Metal case, durable construction, dust and moisture protection, small size, comfortable lens hood; sharp, contrasting, but without overshooting, plastic picture, excellent color rendition, excellent bokeh - just beautiful, high resolution throughout the field, holds light well - practically without "bunnies", front lens with a special coating that allows not to use a protective filter, genre versatility - you can shoot from macro to street and portrait, and it works great at 2.8, it's working - it doesn't lather, etc., you can sharpen manually on autofocus without switching (like all the latest lenses from Pentah)
- It is sensitive to poor lighting and low-contrast objects - it is uncertainly aimed, it can be used (although this is on my old Penta K-10D), the rest of the behavior when focusing in in operational shooting is due to its specialization - after all, this is a macro lens
