Very pleased with this purchase, will recommend it to everyone!

Before that, there was a Samsung G10, lenses for Pentax remained from it, so there was no choice of a manufacturer when buying a new camera. This model suits the price-quality ratio. I don't regret it. Got pros: Inexpensive model with the capabilities of a professional line. Good color reproduction, convenient menu and high quality. Has cons: 1. The preset night shooting modes brighten the image too much, it seems that it is evening and not night. 2. The screen is missing at the top as in more…

I thought it would be better, but overall not bad.

I myself recently acquired a Canon, I will not specifically write a model so that they do not think that it is a competitor. I didn’t really understand it, maybe that’s why the pictures are not very contrasting, but maybe the stock optics are like that. Before that there was a Panasonic with Lake optics. Canon is better in color reproduction. With its pros. I really didn't like the customer reviews. If you are a real owner of the device, then the words are comfortable in the hand, secondary…

Best entry-level camera

I did a lot of research looking at entry-level cameras. I started with a Nikon D3500 and upgraded to a Pentax K-70. Reasons I did it: excellent low-light quality, weatherproofing, and a swiveling screen. However, the K-70's battery life was terrible. I sent it back but still recommend it as one of the best all-around cameras for beginners. I chose the Sony a7iii, but that's more than twice the price of the K-70. Unfortunately, the K-70 only lasted me a few hours on the trail, where I take all…

Pros
  • Nicely
Cons
  • Requires socket

Wall Photos

Others have written long, detailed technical reviews of this camera, so my review is for amateur photographers considering an upgrade. Years ago photography was part of my job as a newspaper reporter and I used a Pentax SLR to capture sporting and other live events. Then I switched to another realm, the digital age came and I only needed a camera for personal use, so I switched to basic digital cameras that did all the work for you, no more guesswork with aperture, shutter speed and aperture…

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Minor Issues

A very well balanced camera for the price.

I bought a Pentax K-70 mainly for video purposes. I already had some vintage lenses from my K-1000 that were a perfect match as both shared the same K-mount design. This camera has been very reliable over the 5 months I've had it. The camera's video quality is 1080p by default and when used with the right settings, it's great for all video and film work. I admit that there are better cameras for video recording. However, if you're looking for a camera with at least the same video quality…

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Sad device

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

The body is protected from dust and moisture, which is indispensable when shooting in rather difficult environmental conditions. Does not slow down when working in the cold season. Excellent night shooting quality and moire suppression capability. Supports all common focusing functions, there are 20 exposure modes. In the hand lies comfortably, light. In addition, I purchased an external flash and a remote control.

Pros
  • Excellent SLR, the shots are clear, bright. Speed 6 frames per second.
Cons
  • Not found

The best product, from those that I have viewed, I advise everyone!

I have been interested in photography for a long time, at first it was just a hobby, and now I earn a living doing it. Throughout my career, I have had many models of cameras, the last one I purchased was a Pentax K-70. This is a relatively inexpensive and functional option, I am very pleased with it. I don’t understand why this brand is not popular in 2022. The processor here is very fast, which allows you to take a bunch of shots in a split second. The mirror is lightweight, comfortable to…

Pros
  • Comfortable, functional, high quality
Cons

Nightmarish quality and complete inconsistency with the description.

This line: K-30, K-50, K-70, just like Pentax K-S1, Pentax K-S2, has a fatal defect in the green Chinese solenoid (diaphragm drive). After some time (as soon as the warranty ends in the main), a malfunction of the aperture control solenoid often manifests itself and as a result very dark frames are obtained. The diaphragm just won't open. It is closed to the limit. Is always. The core of the solenoid is made by the Chinese from a different alloy, which becomes magnetized over time. Plus…

Pros
  • What is the point of an apparatus if one small detail makes it meaningless?
Cons
  • A fatal defect in the green Chinese solenoid (diaphragm actuator), after which Malevich's black square appears.

I like the product very much, fully consistent with my expectations.

I’m practically an amateur photographer, so I don’t put forward any special requirements. The pictures are clear, saturated, you can shoot at night and in the rain, light, there is WI-FI. The video also turns out to be of excellent Full HD quality. The battery is not very capacious, but for four hundred his pictures are enough. Supports almost all kinds of memory cards.

Pros
  • shooting quality, "foppish design", dimensions.
Cons
  • No
