Enter, switch on, grab!

Nothing is easier to set up and use. Not really. For not integrating WiFi into your cameras, this is a good and quite organic solution. I plugged it into my camera, connected to the default SSID, set up the new password and was good to go. I'm a bit new to DSLRs (right now) so I might not see things a pro would object to, but this works great for me. The only thing I can't comment on yet is how much this card drains the battery. I keep records so I hope to update this review later with some…

Pros
  • Ease of Use
Cons
  • Useless Features

Works but you have to really want to like it

I bought this for use in a Pentax 645z to try it out and offer extras at little cost or free on filming. I read other reviews that downgraded the transfer rate of the card as very slow, so before my wedding I installed the Flu card as a second card with a reduced JPG quality of 21 MP, remembering the reduced file size (compared to to the standard 51 MP). raw (80-100 megabytes) makes transfers a breeze. Didn't think of trying this as I didn't have to provide live images at the event. In the end…

Great accessory for the K3 remote

This is an amazing addition to the K3. While it has some downsides, overall I find it very useful and works as advertised. I have two main uses: 1) as a way to remotely control the camera and change [some] settings. Very useful when you don't want to disturb the camera OR when the weather is bad and you don't want to just stand around a tripod and wait in the cold. Find a convenient place (e.g. in a car) nearby and wait for the moment. The live view on the big screen also helps you to check the

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • I'm mad

I hate the beep on startup

I hate the beep on startup. It's just annoying. But other than that, it's amazing. I can control my camera from my phone with live preview by connecting to 192.168.1.1 on my phone. And use photo transfer app directly to my phone or ipad. That's incredible.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Volume

Bad out of the box is not uncommon.

Received today - returned today. Didn't work out of the box. Tried in two K3 and no dice. Searching the web for the error I was having on my camera brought up results that enlightened me - apparently they don't usually work or only work for a very short time. Won't try the second - not worth the hassle.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Available in white only

Works well but not a workhorse.

Does what I need. Short distance remote launch and some viewing of my pictures. Worked great on my Moto G and iPad. so i'm satisfied. My only downside is that after half an hour it got hot and lost the signal. I was able to restore the function after a short rest. Occasional use for a 7 hour job and when mostly fine with only one outage.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

This is the flu card in the Computers and Accessories section

There are no problems with the card itself. Access is a bit from 2009 with the need to login to the web interface. No matter how expensive and elitist Pentax was, I had high hopes for the card. Works best in portrait mode when you can control with your iPad, phone, etc.

Pros
  • There's something in there
Cons
  • Angry

Worked as SD card

. but not as a wireless card. I put it in my new Pentax K-3II, turned it on and... the card just beeped. Constant. sound signal. sound signal. sound signal. sound signal. sound signal. Neither my phone nor laptop could find it over Wi-Fi, so it's possible the one I received was defective. I'm about to go back.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Negative present

This rating doubles this card and my old Kindle Fire HD purchased in 2013. This card gives me new ways to use my old Kindle. With this card you can use a web browser to watch TV, configure most settings on the Pentax K-3 and take a picture. It is designed for Pentax K-3. It works with other cameras but not fully. If you don't have a Pentax K-3 and don't have a specific use for it, I would buy a cheaper WiFi card. I have alternative wireless cards. But they don't control the camera like this…

Pros
  • We look forward to
Cons
  • The list will be long.
