Ideal replacement in combination with 0.5 micron filter for fresh water filtration throughout the boat. 3M has discontinued the RV/Marine B2 filter I use, but this one is better and a quarter of the price. Goodbye branded filters from 3M! Unfortunately, brands don't cost that much.

I used this to replace the bodywork on my caravan. It's more than I thought it would be, but it's a money saver considering the standard case that came in my trailer was $30. Highly recommended if you have an expensive replacement cartridge. These housings and filters are cheaper than the factory cartridge.

Excellent build quality, integrated mounting bracket. However, note that due to the molded mounting bracket, the flow direction cannot be reversed, so the inlet and outlet orientation must be left to right. The flexibility of non-integrated fixture models means you can easily rotate them to flow in the direction your installation dictates.
