Choose this model because it filters out some additional harmful chemicals when they are present in unfiltered water. This comes at the expense of flow rate, but for drinking water purposes the flow rate isn't bad with this filter.

I have just purchased and installed this unit but I noticed a warning in the user manual that the product contains chemicals known to cause cancer, so is it safe to use it for drinking water or not?

I've been using this brand of water filters for several years, but this is the first time I've seen such a label. Why on earth are you or Revain selling a product that causes cancer? It is not enough to put a label on it. This cannot be sold!

I was amazed that this new model of filter worked so well. No leaks have occurred since installation over six weeks ago (June 24, 2021). I was worried about the adjustment or if the filtering would cause some kind of thread blocking, but none of that. It's time to order more for other fountains.

Have been using it for 5 years now. Installed pressure to supply water to the refrigerator for the ice maker (simple refrigerator, no built-in filter). Our city has good water, but after the rain, the chlorine gets a little heavier. It is easy to taste in drinks with ice. This filter removes ALL flavor from the water.

Use this to filter the water in my ice fridge. The plumber installed this filter a few years ago and I didn't want to call him to replace it. Was so happy to see the exact model here on Revain. Instructions are included and I had no trouble installing it on a utility line in the basement. I like drinking filtered water with filtered ice again.
