Works well! Easy to use once you know how to weave beads into your niece's hair. Roger that. We took her to the barber to get her hair done but thought we could try to do her hair in between. Didn't know she needed pearls in her hair too. My sister figured out how to use beads and it works well and makes it a lot easier than trying without beads. The purchase is definitely worth it!

I use this for macrame. Because the stem is longer than most, it's great for pulling cord through sections in my projects. I can easily maneuver through the cables. I also use wooden beads or other items that I attach to projects. The rod goes through a fairly small hole on the beads and other items.
