The templates by Marti Michell are easy to use because they are very well designed. I received this set so now I have sets A, B, C and D. They come with Ox. 1 and 2 of her perfect patchwork books.

I'm new to quilting. Marty Michell's templates really help my accuracy. I have their Log Cabin line and sets A and B. I made a practice block with an 8 pointed star and it turned out so pretty. It's much easier than cutting paper templates.

I ordered these templates for the Mysterious Quilt project. I have used quilt templates often and have found them very easy to use and absolutely accurate. It is very useful that they show the line of the fibers of the fabric because when the fabric is "cut from the fibers" it is crooked and very difficult to work with. I also like that they have a hole so they can be hung on a perforated board. I highly recommend them.

I bought all the stencils from the Marti Michell sets and they are perfectly interchangeable. 1 inch pieces are joined between sets, 2 inch pieces are joined and 3 inch pieces are joined. So if you buy all the sets, you can create a lot more patterns than with a single set. And since they're all perfectly symmetrical, you can mass cut out lots of detail without worrying about alignment. They are very durable. The rotary cutter doesn't even cut them. They have a roughened back so they won't slip

I just received this kit and the Dresden Cymbal Template kit. They seem thicker and stronger compared to templates from other brands that I already have. I was also impressed with the instructions that came with the templates. These templates are helpful when making smaller patterns than the AccuQuilt dies I have for the big stars. I find templates more convenient to use than rulers (probably my inexperience shows here). When I find I need specific shapes that aren't available in AccuQuilt…
