🌡️ Accurate Temperature Measurement from 40 to 200°C with Perfect Prime TL0005 Thermocouple Review

I am a full time HVACR technician. I have tested this clamp with two other thermocouples in known operating condition, Digital Testo and Fieldpiece. Both read the temperature on the same section of the suction line to within half a degree. This thermocouple showed up to 10 degrees less. The clamp itself feels solid and holds the pipe well, but if it can't be used invest in the right tool.

I'm an HVAC technician and bought this to check. If you don't like guessing and don't need an exact temperature, this isn't for you. Difficult to find the "golden dot" on the clip to read it properly. I bought 2 clamps and put them next to each other on the same line several times and each time I had a 5 degree temperature difference between the clamps. Clamps are not what you need for precise work. And they have brief conclusions

The only thing required from this device is an accurate measurement of pipe temperature. I bought this as a backup to my much more expensive Fieldpiece. Well, when I needed it, I could tell right away that the numbers he was giving me weren't even remotely plausible. I suspect it's because of the bad angle that the clamp is holding the thermocouple plate against the tube. I ended up buying another Fieldpiece clip for $60.
